The Schistosomiasis Control Initiative (SCI) is not a U.S.-registered charity, but United States donors can make tax-deductible donations to GiveWell for the support of SCI.

Donors who live outside the United States can follow the instructions below to make a direct donation to SCI.

Options for donating to SCI

Donors who wish to give to SCI have the following options:

• Give a non-tax deductible gift directly to SCI via its website: http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/schisto/donate. Gifts made in this way are eligible for UK gift aid but are not eligible for US tax deductions.

  It's important to us to track donations made due to our research. If you choose to give directly (rather than through our site), please let us know through our donation report form.

• Give to GiveWell for the support of SCI using the button below. GiveWell is able to make direct grants for the support of SCI, and US donors are able to take tax deductions for donations to GiveWell. GiveWell charges no fees when taking donations for the support of SCI. The form below allows you to make a one-time donation; you can make a recurring donation on SCI's recurring donations page.

If you take the latter option, please note:

• Both GiveWell and SCI will receive confirmation of your gift as well as your contact information and email address (if you choose to share it). Your information will not be shared with any third parties.
• Because GiveWell is enrolled in the Google Grants program, no fees are charged on your donation through the Google Checkout box on this page. GiveWell itself also does not charge any fees when taking donations for the support of SCI.
